At a low trot, Ren, Caylee, Stephanie, and her two mares arrived into the fields. The cattle were scattered to and fro, about fifty in the entire herd. The group needed to move them into the feeding field so they could build up some weight. She nodded to a fence a small distance away.
"You can tie her there, if you like,"
She said gently, motioning to her beautiful palomino Mustang. She pat Ren while waiting.

Coming in beside Caylee and Ren were Steph, Gramatika, and Dreamspace all in a smooth trot. Stephanie nodded to her suggestion and slowed the two equines into a slow walk. She then said,
Will do.
Stephanie did a proper dismount off of Dreamscape and un-tied Gramatika from her saddle horn. The girl led her new mare over to a pole in the distance and tied her securely to the pole. She smiled and kissed Gramatika on the soft nose and whispered, Be good.
She re-mounted Dreamscape and trotted over to Caylee..
Lets get to work.

She nodded with a smile.
"Just what I was thinking,"
She whispered, heels tipping into the trusty ranch mare's side, lips parting in an enthusiastic "yah". She kissed to her and took off at a low gallop, moving back to a canter. She motioned for Steph to come up on the opposite side of the cattle as she directed Ren behind them on the right side. She slowed the mare to a trot. The first to try to dip out on her side was the smalleset of the cows, a little buckskin-colored male. Ren jumped at the opportunity, pulling her haunches beneath her as she slid and put him back on track. Caylee pat her neck and looked over to see how Dreamscape and Steph were doing.

Without hardly any motion, Dreamscape took off after Caylee and Ren. When Steph got the signal, she nodded and steered Dream to the left of the cattle, cutting off a fast female and her calf. Dream gave them a wild look, but they were un-convinced and tried to move around them. Dream half-reared and stepped infront of them. Stephanie smirked, letting Dream do everything, cause she knew how. Seeing that Caylee was looking at her, and those two cows were under controll, Stephanie gave a smile to Caylee.

Caylee smiled. This girl obviously knew what she was doing. Once it seemed that the cows were in order on her side, she came behind the last one at a gallop, urging them faster. There was a huge dust cloud, and, although unable to see, experienced Ren kept at it. A huge steer veered off, obviously the leader of the pack, with about half of the herd following. She had a slightly worried look, and Ren felt tense.
The mare leapt out, and Caylee urged her with her spur and voice to hurry and catch up, finally, there was the steer. She growled under her breath and Ren slid to a halt infront of it before galloping up almost like she was bucking and steering him back to the herd. Caylee bit her lip, hoping that Steph had been able to keep the other half in line herself, for it had been about sixty seconds trying to get the steer back in order.

A worried look was painted on Steph's features as half of the herd took off with their leader. A leading female decided to follow, and Dream was quite frusterated. With a few incouraging words and a sturdy hand, The pare managed to get the cattle in line and towards the feeding area. Now, half of the herd was moving steadily towards the destination. Stephanie smirked and followed them assurtively. She smiled and patted Dream who was sweating lightly.

She smiled gently. Yes, this was grand, just grand. She laughed a little, smiling at Steph while stroking her little mare. They were minutes away from the feed field, and the herd seemed to be going fine, except for one of the calves who seemed to get lost. Wordlessly, Caylee pointed Steph to the calf. She needed to rope him in and catch up, and Caylee would have to deal with the whole herd herself.

Stephanie nodded, eyeing the couple of calfs that didn't have a clue. Dream was reluctant to leave the herd, but followed Steph's commands as the headed towards the calves at a slow trot, careful not to scare them off. Steph took her lariat that she had brought along and swung it above her hat. She aimed for the bigger calf that seemed to lead the others. They wouldn't continue to rebel if their leader was being taken away! They headed in a steady trot towards the feeding pen. Stephanie smiled as she saw the other calves trailing behind her steadily.
(good thing you gotta go to! I'm tired and gotta turn in!)

She smiled, watching the cattle head into the feeding pen. She closed the gate firmly once they were all in and bolted it. She looked back to Steph, petting her sweaty red roan, sides heaving.
"Nice job, kid,"
She said warmly, holding her hand up for a high five as she and Ren walked past, ready to circle.

While quickly halting Dream and putting her lariat back on the saddle, Steph heard Caylee approaching. She wondered if she would give her pointers, or give her compliments. Hearing compliments, Steph smirked and returned the high-five.
Thanks. It was exciting. My goal with the two youngsters is to train them like this one here. You could..help if you want..
She said softly. Little did Caylee know, inside, she was almost pleading. She hadn't trained a horse from scratch before, and it had been a while since she had trained one. She could do it by herself, but would feel more confident with some assistance.

She grinned, loving the chance. She was the kind that lived to do ranch chores, rodeos, and train the youngsters from scratch. She had her own, Solitaire, that she was working with.
"I'd love to... that sounds amazing! You should come and see Solitaire sometime - he's a charmer. Maybe once we cool these guys out and take 'em back.. you could also help with me with my yearling, Monikae."

A grin spread across the lambrums of the rather...happy girl as she heard the woman speak to her about helping train her horses.
Wow. I should be asking you, cause that would be taking a break from my chores, and I still have chores to do..
Steph explained, not wanting to get in trouble too soon..but that opertunity would be awesome, and she didn't want to let it go.

Her vision averted skywards, smiling.
"Nay, what do you need to do now...? Feed, muck, and excercise Navajo? What'll that take, an hour and a half? Nay, we can go ahead and do it - everybody needs a break sometime. Anyways, this is way more fun than finishing up my chores."
She replied laughingly.

Wow..this girl was really nice. A wide smile spread across her maw as she nodded in reply. She also decided to say,
True..after all, we can say I was helping you with the yearling, even though I'll probably just be learning the whole time..
Her tone trailed as she got deeper into converstation. The converstaion was inturupted by a shrill whinny. Braids were tossed back behind Steph's shoulders as she gazed over to see Gramatika pulling on the lead. Steph smirked and dis-mounted Dream. She walked over to Tessa and patted her golden nape. The equine instantly settled and gazed longingly over to Dream and Ren. Steph nodded and led her over to the group. Steph once again mounted Dream and adjusted Gramatika in the correct position to be ponied..

She smiled and nodded. She hadn't known about Steph at first, but more and more she was beginning to like her.
"Yeah, of course. Shall we?"
She laughed at Tessa, and nudged Ren into a low trot, motioning for the pair to follow.
