With a roll of the eyes, Stephanie entered the mare's stall. The slender, attractive girl found it hard not to stare at the beautiful sun kissed quarter horse. She ran a tan hand over the mare's hide, feeling all of the muscles as she did so. Steph shook her head, refusing to get attatched to any horse while she was here. Her golden mahogany locks were taimed in two loose braids, giving her a southern look with a hint of feminity. She sighed as she groomed the mare. She would be back as soon as she bought some tack..so she could actually ride.

Caylee had propped her slender physique upon Cowboy's stall door, watching the gelding sway and scurry about his stall uncomfortably. She cooed gently, fingers reached out to fiddle with his thick, matted mane.
"Relax, Cowboy..."
She hummed smoothly. The gelding had been restless ever since his arrival - he missed his wide open North Dakota field and his ranch work. She sighed. She'd have to find somebody to assign him to. Her eyes averted to the girl in Dreamscape's stall and smiled lightly. Must be the new girl, Stephanie. She strode over to the stall door and entered quietly.
"Hi, you must be Stephanie...? I'm Caylee Walsh, the ranch owner..."

While walking in with her new tack, Steph heard a new voice and she turned swiftly to the girl. She looked at her blankly and nodded.
yup. I'm Stephanie. Nice to meet you.
Steph walked into the mare's stall and sat the tack on the stall door. She ran a brush over the mare's smooth coat. Auds picked up the sound of...fizzing. She smirked, knowing she had brushed Dreamscape to the max. She slid a saddle pad over the mare's back, which seemed to calm the fizzing. She set the new saddle on her back and sighed with delight. She felt so responcible for everything..and it seemed to cover up her rebelious attitude. She tightened the cinch. She walked over to the stall door and picked up the headstall. She slid it on her head and fastened it securely after making Dreamscape take the bit. She re-checked the tack and patted the mare. She would use the breastcollar next time if needed. She led the mare out of the stall and dropped the reins as she quickly put the breastcollar away in the tack room, but put it away from the rest of the tack. She re-checked her cinch, waiting to see if the girl would say anything else.

She eyed the girl a little. She looked different. Perhaps rebellious... maybe. That's just how Caylee had been at her age. She shrugged.
"Likewise. Mind if I join you?"
She wondered if Stephanie was going to herd the cattle, because Caylee needed to go with her anways, for that. She pulled herself away for a second to retrieve her stallion, Tolkien. He was already tacked, for she was planning to go out for a trail ride either way. She climbed up on him and shoved her cowboy hat further on her head.

Lovely Traces fall behind you, turn around and you will see Lovely Traces...
Stephanie patted Dreamscape and smirked as she almost pushed her over. Orbs locked with those of the femme, and she instantly calmed. A nod was given to Caylee, soon Steph explained,
Sure. I'm gunna herd some cattle anyways.
She trusted Dream to behave and headed into the tack room for her lariat and cowboy hat. It just happened to be pink, and it matched with her classic cowgirl outfit. She didn't mean to turn riding into a fashion show, but she just threw on something and it happened to match. Steph headed back into the halls and picked up the reins. She wondered when they would head out..or if they would talk up the day.

-squeaks- no... muse... at... all... sorry. also, solitaire's too young, so ren it is
Caylee smiled and nodded.
"Good, then we can go."
Her slender fingers massaged the red speckled nape hiding the well-muscled boa of her trusty ranch mare, Ren. Caylee wore a low-cut pair of Wranglers, a "team penner" hat, and her hair in a big, sloppy blonde bun. She smiled. She wasn't one to wait around and talk up the day - she got down to buisness.. otherwise the ranch would've been dead already. She nodded towards the enterance to the barn, walking the mare down to the livestock fields, waiting to see if Stephanie would follow.

Oh Crap, sorry, I'm gunna hafta pony along my new mare, I'm gunna break her soon so I want to get in some trail experience. While were herding the cattle, She'll behave.
She headed into Gramatika's stall and put a halter over her head and attatched an extra long rope. She lead her out and then started to lead them both out to where Caylee was. Steph's auds were peirced by a shrill whinny, and she called back to Hawk,
I'm sorry, I cant handle three horses at once!
She smirked towards her new colt and mounted Dream as soon as they were out of the asles. She adjusted her self to be comfortable and adjusted the rope Gramatika was attatched too.
I'm ready.
Stephanie finally said with a blush. She hoped this wouldnt be to much trouble.

Caylee thought this might be a bit of a problem, unless she tied the mare while they were rounding, because it would be a lot of work if they were going to work together. She nodded.
"That's fine,"
She said warmly, eying the pretty palomino mare.
"Oh, that's the Mustang, hm? She was one of my favorites on the Mustang drive."
She said gently, stroking Gramatika slowly.

Steph nodded in reply. The mare half-reared playfully and forced both of the equines into a smooth, rocking canter. The advanced rider reined in her equine and tugged on the rope Gramatika was attatched too. She smirked and patted Dreamscape. She waited for Caylee and Ren to catch up before she said,
Soo...where are we headed?
She thought out loud. While they were rounding up the cattle, she would tie the younger mare to something a ways away from the cattle, but somewhere she'd still be able to keep an eye on her from.
